Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 The 2026 Butchers’ Summit is organised by Retail Meat New Zealand (RMNZ).

1.2 The conference will take place on 13–14 October 2026.

1.3 By registering for the conference, attendees acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions

2. Registration

2.1 All attendees must register to attend the conference.

2.2 Conference registration fees include access to Meat Up Welcome drinks, conference sessions and the Dunninghams Great New Zealand Sausage Mixer Awards.

2.3 The optional activity and additional sausage mixer tickets are available at an additional cost.

3. Payment

3.1 Payment must be made in full to secure registration.

3.2 All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD), exclude GST, and are per person.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations received 40 days (or after Fri 4 September) or more prior to the event will be eligible for a 75% refund.

4.2 Cancellations received within 30 days (or after Mon 14 September) days of the event will be eligible for a 50% refund.

4.3 No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after Monday 28 September.

4.4 Registrations may be transferred to another attendee with prior written notification to the organisers.

4.5 If the 2026 Butchers’ Summit is cancelled due to pandemic-related restrictions or circumstances beyond the organisers’ control, RMNZ will provide a full refund of registration fees paid.

4.6 If the event is postponed, registrations will automatically transfer to the rescheduled event date unless otherwise advised by the organisers.

4.7 RMNZ is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred by attendees due to cancellation, postponement, or changes to the event.

5. Event Changes

5.1 The organisers reserve the right to alter the conference programme, schedule, speakers, venue, or event format where necessary.

6. Liability

6.1 Attendees participate in the conference at their own risk and are responsible for their personal belongings.

6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, RMNZ and the event organisers will not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or expense incurred by attendees in connection with the conference.

7. Intellectual Property

8.1 All conference presentations, materials, and content remain the intellectual property of the respective speakers and/or RMNZ.

8.2 Unauthorised recording, reproduction, or distribution of conference content is prohibited without prior written consent.

9. Photography and Filming

9.1 Photography and video recording may take place during the conference for promotional and marketing purposes.

9.2 By attending the event, attendees consent to the use of their image and likeness in conference-related promotional material unless they notify the organisers in writing prior to the event.

10. Privacy

10.1 Personal information collected during registration will be used for the administration and delivery of the event and related conference communications.

10.2 RMNZ will manage personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and will not share attendee information with third parties except where necessary for event delivery or required by law.
