Medals

Since the 2023 competition, we now award the top 5th percentile of scores per category for Gold Medals, scores that fall between the next consecutive 5th percentile will be awarded Silver Medals and products that score within the following 5th percentile will be awarded Bronze Medals. The top-scoring product for each category will be awarded a Category Champion Winner Medal.

Supreme Award

The Category Champion-winning products will progress through to the final judging where the Supreme Award winner will be found.

People’s Choice

The top six scoring products, as determined on the supreme judging day, will progress through to the People’s Choice. The product with the most votes from the public wins People’s Choice.

Dunninghams Choice

The top scoring product using Dunninghams spice mix will be crowned the Dunninghams Choice.

All medalists and award winners will receive medal labels, 1x ticket for the Sausage Mixer, a framed certificate, display posters, and media coverage where possible.
