ANZCO Foods shares our passion for nurturing young talent within the retail meat industry and proudly serves as the naming rights sponsor of the Young Butchers of New Zealand Squad. Retail Meat NZ is proud to manage the ANZCO Foods Young Butchers of New Zealand Squad—a group of skilled young butchers and apprentices who will represent New Zealand at the World Champion Butcher Apprentice and Young Butcher Competition.
This prestigious competition acts as the curtain-raiser for the World Butchers' Challenge, where the ANZCO Foods Young Butchers of New Zealand team will compete against countries from around the globe, showcasing their craftsmanship on the world stage and vying for the coveted world titles.
Each squad member has earned their place by winning titles in the Pact Packaging Young Butcher & ANZCO Foods Butcher Apprentice of the Year competitions, and being further selected into the squad, proving their passion for the trade and commitment to the craft of butchery.
