event: Canterbury Butchers’ Golf Tournament

A highlight in the Canterbury butchers’ social calendar.

Retail Meat New Zealand presents the Canterbury Butchers' Golf Tournament which takes place in the peak of Summer at the Waitikiri Golf Club, during the month of February. Butchers from all over the country participate in the first networking event of the calendar year.

EVENT DETAILS

Date: 15 Feb 2026

Location: Waitikiri Golf Course, Christchurch

Entry Fee: $65.00 + GST per player, teams of 4 players, also includes, snacks on the course, a couple of drinks and lunch.

Prizes and Awards: Best Gross, Best Net, ANZCO Foods Closest to the Pins (hole 9 & hole 17), Pure South Longest Drive (hole 10), Most honest Golfer and Two’s and many more prizes!

Time: 8am Shot Gun Start

Competitions: Stableford competition for Handicap Players - Callaway Competition for all Non-Handicap Players.

Dress Code: Smart casual golfing attire must be worn. Tracksuit trousers and beach style shorts are not permitted. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Golf shoes that have been worn on the course should not be worn in the clubhouse.

Refund Policy: In the event that you choose not to play or the tournament is cancelled by the Waitikiri Golf Club due to extreme weather, no refunds will be given.

IMPORTANT:

Before completing the registration form, please ensure any team member with a golf handicap provides their 7-digit ID number. This is required to register them for the tournament, as the golf club will be using Golf NZ (DotGolf) for the scoring.

This information must be included in the registration form below.

If a team member has a handicap but doesn’t have the Golf NZ (DotGolf) app, they will need to download it before the tournament.
