2022 Butchers' Summit + Dunninghams Scholarship registrations NOW OPEN

"Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, then it's not the end" - John Lennon

Early bird registrations for the Butcher's Summit are now open!

While there is still a lot of uncertainty in the air with Omicron in our communities, we are basing our decision to keep forging ahead with the conference on the hope, that it'll all be okay in May!

We are looking forward to bringing our people together again, after what has been and still is a tough time for our industry.

We are excited to bring you a fresh line-up of inspiring and engaging content and our incredible programme of speakers will challenge you to think outside the box, introduce you to concepts of tomorrow and equip you with the tools to maximise opportunities and profits.
On the line-up we have:

David Downs, CEO of NZ Story, will inspire you by sharing his remarkable story from his book A Mild Touch of the Cancer.

Andrew Arnold, GM of Scott Automation, will give us a peek at what game-changing automation will be hitting the industry.

Yvette Basson, Kantar NZ will be giving us in-depth insights into our local kiwi market.

Miranda Burdon, co-founder of Food Nation a plant-based food company, yes you did read that correctly. We decided to take up the challenge Julia Jones (NZX) set for us in 2021, to become a little more acquainted with this sector and Miranda will be sharing her mission within the plant-based world with us.

Ruaraidh Petre, ED of the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, will share the actions they are taking to make sustainable beef part of a thriving food system.

As well as these speakers we will have updates from our Protein Partners and sponsors, plus the usual "Butcher Series", Dunninghams Butcher Banter and the infamous conference dinner.

PLEASE NOTE: Delegates will need to book their own accommodation with the New Plymouth International Hotel, RMNZ will no longer be booking these. We will also be offering a full refund to delegates if we are unable to run the event and so we encourage you to get your early bird tickets as soon as possible.

EARLY BIRD RATES CLOSING FRIDAY 1 APRIL

Applications for the Dunninghams Scholarship are now open! Are you currently working as a butcher and you’re a RMNZ member? If yes, then you could be going to the Butchers' Summit for FREE!
